Monthly Savings from Solar Panels at the Wastewater Treatment Plant:
From April 3, 2012 to May 3, 2012 the solar system generated 5,144 KWH for a total monthly savings of $621.75
Indian Hills General Improvement District was chartered in 1973 by Douglas County, Nevada as a unit of local government, according to the Nevada Revised Statutes, Section 318. It is a multi function district, with an elected Board of Trustees, who, within the established boundaries of the District, oversee the development, maintenance, and use of public facilities such as the water and sewer systems, streets and sidewalks, parks and open space.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Mission of the District is to provide, within its Charter, those public facilities and services which maintain and improve the quality of life of its resident families, and to maintain and operate those facilities and services at the highest quality and in the most cost-effective manner possible, with the intent to continue to do so for a growing population of residents.
