There are plenty of activities for all at James Lee Memorial Park.

James Lee Memorial Park facilities include a one of a kind Skate Park, Playground, Gazebo with picnic tables and barbecues, Tennis Court, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court, (3) Ball Fields, Soccer Field, Exercise & Nature Trails, Concession Stand and Restrooms.

For facility reservations, please contact the Recreation Department at (775) 267-2805 x 28. Permits are issued on a first come, first served basis and are issued upon approval. Meeting Room Rental

The Indian Hills District Office Boardroom / Meeting room is available for renting. Eligibilty, rules and restrictions apply.

Capacity: 10 each 8 foot tables seat 8 comfortably or just seat 100 people. (Chairs and Tables available)

2009 Holiday Lighting Contest

July 18, 2009 Concert in the Park-Pictures
Bring the family for a fun evening of music at the concert in James Lee Park from 6-8P.M. featuring the band Ride On.

May 16, 2009 Skate Board Competition-Pictures
IHGID and 702 Skate shop will be hosting a Skate Board competition on Saturday May 16 from 10A.M. to 4 P.M. Age groups are as follows: 8 & under, 9-11 and 12-13 will be competing in the 10A.M. -12P.M. session, 14-15 and 16 & up will be competing in the 1P.M.- 4P.M.session. There is a $5.00 participation fee; you can sign up at the 702 skate shop next to Best Buy. For more information call 775-267-3831.

April 11, 2009 IHGID Annual Easter Egg Hunt-Pictures
Bring the family for pictures with the Easter Bunny, goodies and the egg hunt. Prize eggs for each age group. See you there!
