Indian Hills General Improvement District is currently accepting applications from qualified individuals for:


Seasonal Field Operations Utility

This is a 40 hour, 8 month seasonal position March thru October eligible for NVPERS. Must be available evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be 18 years or older, have a valid driver’s license with a clear record, park maintenance experience preferred and must be able to pass a drug/alcohol test and background check. Hourly wage $14.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting in the maintenance of all District facilities and grounds, including mowing, weeding, and removing trash, edging, irrigation, painting, restroom maintenance, and prepping of rented/scheduled District facilities.

A valid class “C” driver’s license and current DMV printout are required.

Preference in the recruitment process will be given to applicants:

  • Who have knowledge of basic operating maintenance principals of equipment such as mowers, trimmers, edger’s, sprayer, small engines, and painting equipment.
  • Who have the ability to solve problems logically, communicate clearly and concisely, safely operate and clean equipment, enforce District rules and regulations and understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
